Anyone made these with just a serger?

    Curious if anyone made these with just a serger? How did they turn out? What did use to topstitch?

    I make mine partly with a serger/overlocker but I think you need a sewing machine to finish them off.

    I haven’t, but if the serger had a cover stitch function maybe you could use that to top stitch? Just thinking.

    I have both. I was taught to sew then serge. Just curious was all.

    You can definitely just sew the side seams etc on the serger without sewing them on the sewing machine first. Then just use n machine for the top stitching and other bit that would be difficult on the serger. It significantly speeds up your sewing time not double stitching! And the sewing police will not be knocking on your door 🙂
