The Lisette B6244 coat went to Paris this past week on my DIL. It suited her for the plane travel as well as the late October temperature in Paris.
I can’t wait to try another one.

I’m thinking/planning on a holiday dress with hand embroidery on the front yoke of the Hide-and-Seek Dress, but will I have enough time???

I think it went a little slowly for me because I was timid with the iron. This was my first project with wool and I was was afraid to be too heavy handed with the heat. I have never lengthened a skirt that much Charlene but I would consider adding length in two places. I would divide the the panel into thirds and add the length at these lines.
Does that make sense? So you don’t end up with too exaggerated an A-line.

It is a lovely skirt.

We don’t have costumes and we don’t have a party to go to this year (the youth centre put one on for the kids last year). The kids are throwing suggestions around and dh has just told them we are Not doing any of it. I have had to explain to him the origins of the Halloween tradition and how it has become commercialised.
