I think this dress would be lovely in wool, but bear in mind that it is unlined, for one, and a long full dress, too. You’d want to select your wool carefully to be sure it felt nice against your skin, and the dress didn’t feel too heavy or stiff.

Hi, when I shortened the yoke on mine, I removed one inch from the bottom edge of the yoke, and raised the center skirt by a corresponding one inch. What is a ‘lounge set’ for children? I am supposed to make one by Friday, but not sure I have ever seen a 6 year old lounge.

@todd if sewing for you means I “have to” take a trip to Spain for fittings then yes, I will volunteer. Can’t make any promises about the quality of my work, post-sangria. Might find my husband and daughter suddenly making themselves invaluable as tracers of patterns and stitchers of buttons.
