I’ve used fusible with good results. I made a wallet with fusible last January and it is still going strong with daily use.

No, it’s fine. I prefer the sew-in interfacing for this project, but if you have fusible and want to use it go ahead. Enjoy!

The Have It All Wallet pattern calls for extra firm woven sew-in interfacing. I only have extra firm fusible. Is there a reason not to just sew in the fusible instead of fusing it? Thanks.

Sorry, I don’t have dimensions. I’m guessing you might have already come up with something, but I think an obi/kimono-style belt would be adorable with the culottes.

I made a pair of these out of supplex – nylon fabric that many RTW hiking pants are made of. I ordered from Rockywoods fabric, but you might also look at Rose City Textiles (they have more choices). That’s a very specific type of RTW look that may or may not be to an 11-year-olds taste, but both stores do sell swatches. And I found the supplex…[Read more]

Thank you Tamara! That totally helps. Will check those out.
Good to know about samples, that will help him decide. And being that I had always wanted rtw looking clothes when my mom/grandma sewed for me, I totally get it and yes will pretty much do what it takes to perfect the look. Thankful to have the support here.

Hi Tara (@4dfamily98)
Would he like them in denim? If so you could try Threadbare fabrics – they have cone denim which is a high quality denim, both rigid and stretch.
Otherwise you could try Fabric.com. They have twill, corduroy and other pant weight fabrics that may be suitable. Samples can be requested which would be helpful.
I understand!…[Read more]

Hi~
I am looking for some good quality material to make these cargo pants. We checked out JoAnn’s and didn’t find anything suitable. I am looking both for a shop online or local, I live in the US. Also, what is the type of material you have found success with? I will be making for an 11-year-old boy who wants the pants to look store bought. He is…[Read more]

I’m so excited to find that, once I looked through my whole Picnic Blouse PDF, there was a single sheet pattern option. You know where you have it printed off at a copy shop.
While I’d love layers for each size (tough and expensive to produce I’m betting), this option is fantastic too. I will print it off and then trace the size I need. I HATE…[Read more]

Sorry for the delay in responding. I’ve just tested this out, and it worked find for me. If you put a shipping address on the left side of the page in the US and a billing address on the right side in another country, the shipping options presented on the following screen are the US shipping options. Perhaps you had the country drop down selection…[Read more]

I understand but in this case, you’d want a 6-12 month size (if baby fits the measurement of course). Some pattern pieces won’t require sticking together in the smaller size range. They are still nested but fit onto the page and it would be say a bodice piece if this were the case.
It will save time should you revisit the pattern later on because…[Read more]

Yeah, that’s fine. I just thought sometimes a 9 month size doesn’t go onto another page so I wouldn’t print that page. Thanks.

Hi Suzanne @theartsypaul
The PDF patterns are all nested, meaning the sizes are all together as you assemble the pattern. So with this in mind, tracing would be a great option in order to have your size and preserve the pattern for when different sizes are required.
Hope this helps
