Well, thanks again for the advice. Very excited about completing the cape and rapt with how it turned out. I did the front and back panels vertical and the side panels horizontal. Looks great.

Here’s a tutorial on changing the Lady Skater pattern to sleeveless. It has info and pictures on the armhole changes and binding. I think it would also be applicable to the hopscotch.

Oh yes it is very similar. That one is called Sailor boy – made it for a certain young man who is turning ten on Saturday (when he was a baby of course!)

Look what I found while going through some Australian Smocking and Embroidery Magazines tonight…I see such similarities to Prince George’s “royal attire”!!
