@vzgranier If you use the link Sarvi provided, you’ll see all the errata from the first printing. Everything is covered there.

Here you go: https://oliverands.com/shop/sketchbook-shirt-shorts-sewing-pattern.html#tab-errata
You might want to have a peek at the older threads about this pattern. Folks who want a tuck-in style shirt often add some length, and there’s discussion there about how much to add for which size.
I don’t know whether there’s been a second printing…[Read more]

Where can I find the errata for the sketchbook short and shirt. I have the smaller size. First printing.
I haven’t made the shirt yet, so I want to be sure the pattern is error free before I cut into my fabric.
I see one error as I am looking at the back yoke pattern piece…The bottom line shows one size, but if I follow the line around to…[Read more]

Thanks! I didn’t think about cutting two facings – that certainly makes sense.

@rose-may the site has been extensively redesigned since that post was published six years ago.
You’ll now find a search box at the top-left of the page right under the Oliver + S logo. That will let you search the whole site–not just the forums–for results.

Hello,
I am also trying to search the forum for a very simple but non pattern specific question. I cannot see search box at the bottom of any page? Has this now been removed?
I’m just starting my first Oliver + S pattern and am wondering if I should cut the triangular notches out of the pattern pieces?
Thanks.

Rather than using a different pattern, why not just cut two versions of the facing.
You’ll have a waistband with a top seam, but that can be a nice feature and help prevent elastic rolling.
Or, trim the seam allowance off the top edge of the facing piece then cut it with the length on the fold. That way you avoid the seam at the top.
Either way,…[Read more] -

The sewing machines are coming on holiday with me! The playsuit was mucked up as I attached the front to the back pieces and totally forgot about the shoulder pieces! I think I threw the scraps out and I realised I didn’t cut all the facing pieces.
I am going to try and get some more of this print as the shorts side of the playsuit were all…[Read more]

I just finished my first pair of Field Trip pants this weekend, and I love them! They do illustrate why I should go through the effort of pinning down my (seriously unwilling) model to actually get his measurements, as they’re a good two inches too long, but I love them anyway, and they’ll fit him eventually. I love these pants so much I finally…[Read more]

I botched a Briar t shirt today😕. Will have to try again. I have printed out the metro tee pattern (again) and will lengthen this to a dress and use it with the magenta knit with little sequins, in a bid to have something Taylor Swift would wear for a themed dinner on Wednesday night. This will be a size medium for the eldest girl.
I am currently…[Read more]
