I was taught by my Mum to sew at a very early age as my Granddad worked in a corset factory and he used to save all the scraps of beautiful fabrics for us. Me and my sister made all sorts of dolls clothes and Mum used to let us use her old, hand turned Singer sewing machine.

Sewing has been an important part of my life and it’s led to me trying other crafts like felting, mosaic, jewellery making etc.

I always return to sewing though!
