Heidi I think the design is interesting and just by looking at the pattern, I am expecting them to sew up easily and fast. I will have to ask Imogen her thoughts on fit and ease of wear etc because they are for her. I will never fit into the size range possibly ever – possibly.

I have finally managed the time to cut out the first (of a few) Tania culottes, a Megan Nielsen pattern. I’m doing the short version for my eldest – because I only bought two metres of fabric – the small size does fit btw but with pattern fiddling and my fabric is only 112cm wide so no doubling up.

Now to see if I have the right sized zipper….

I have finally managed the time to cut out the first (of a few) Tania culottes, a Megan Nielsen pattern. Black coated denim, navy and light blue. Jeans and shirts is a pretty standard uniform for me.

Kwik Sew do a very nice jeans pattern that is easy to adjust due to the pattern layout.

I have had good success adapting the Sketchbook shorts too.
