    I’m seeing now that if I just chopped it off, it wouldn’t cover the button holes. I’m bummed, I’m out of interfacing… maybe I can fool around with it to get it to work…

    I do want to sew for myself! It is way more stressful though… Getting a good fit, potentially wasting a lot of nice fabric, different kinds of fabrics.. I have made a couple skirts for myself successfully and I dream of having a ( more subtle) ms frizzle wardrobe when I go back to teaching. I’d like to get better though, and I’m going to try out the attaché dress soon

    Thanks ladies! I have lost a bit of weight, like 65 lbs, so I am much more of an hour glass than I use to be… But I still feel like I carry my weight in my waist, especially since my torso is pretty long. I think I’ll definitely try out h attaché dress

    That blog post definitely won me over on that dress! I never even considered it, the envelope for sure does not do it justice.

    or maybe I want lawn? really I just want something lightweight and flowy, but not if it’s too tricky to use…

    I think (maybe) they are the same; I have seen them used interchangeably at least. Knits are so confusing to me! If I should size up, then maybe I should use something thinner? My niece is already an 8…
