I was wondering if there is a tutorial to change the classic shirt sleeve to a short sleeve with cuffs. I found the tutorial to change it to short sleeves but I am not sure how to add a fold up cuff

I would love to design a dress for teen sizes in the future and this book only goes to size 12. I think that there is such a shortage of good dress patterns for teens and would love a basic block pattern for bodice, skirt and sleeves, maybe as an add on to the book.

Thankyou. I bought some yesterday that I don’t think will be too heavy. It has a lovely drape. I am going to make a couple of shirts out of lighter fabric first before I attempt this as the fabric was quite expensive.

Would it be possible to introduce the patterns first so everyone can buy fabric etc before they go on sale?

I cannot wait for the spring patterns, I hope they are out very soon. I am still hoping for a blazer pattern or a jacket pattern like the lisette jacket just released, although from the blog post it seems as though this will not be. I love simple patterns that are quick to sew but I still need more difficult patterns to advance my sewing…[Read more]
