I am married and the mother of 5 children. I once was an elementary school teacher until I became a mom. Realizing I wanted to sew things for my babies I took up sewing again–I had been sewing on and off again since middle school. I decided to pair my love for sewing with my love for teaching and began teaching sewing in 2006. I started Sew You Studio and taught from my home and in the homes of neighborhood moms. Then, I began teaching at Fancy Tiger Crafts for 6 years. In January 2014, I opened my own studio space in Denver where I continue to enjoy teaching adults AND kids to fall in love with sewing and making things!
