@mari, unfortunately that particular pattern will never be available again. Simplicity took it out of print, and it will not be re-released.

We don’t have a “wanted” board here, but I do know that pattern shows up on eBay every once in a while. You could check there for it.

I’ve taken to Alabama Chanin hand sewing. I’m very surprised how much I’m enjoying it. I’m just about finished my first garment, a bolero hacked from Cashmerette Concord tee. I’d be inclined to go with either gold (or brass) or silver for the yardware. Here are a few examples that might help you choose:

Smoking jacket, spats, cravat, top hat, and monocle case, please!

Worth an enquiry to these guys http://www.lzf.com.au/ as they have a huge range and will cut to required length etc. I’ve used them for single zips before.
