If you think sewing is fun
Then you must make a quick run
For a pizza or tacos
Or maybe some nachos…
It’s a wonder I don’t weigh a ton!Next (I hope this is any good, was thinking of the new pattern releases we were all anticipating!):
I just logged on for a peek

This project reaffirmed my love for handmade clothing, especially the aspect of being able to customize a pattern to fit non-average-sized bodies! RTW pants are difficult for Ellie bc her waist and height fall into very different “typical” age categories. I love being able to make clothes that fit well and look great! So different to the…[Read more]

if I would’ve gone with her height, yes I would’ve made a size 3T and they would have been the perfect length. However, she’s so slim that even the 2T is plenty wide, especially since I didn’t cinch the waist elastic really snug. I was concerned that a 3T would be too baggy on her so that’s why I made the 2T with extra length. I think these will…[Read more]

I just finished a size 2T yesterday! Ellie’s measurements are pretty similar: waist 12-18m or 18-24m, hips 18-24m, height 3T+. I made the 2T and just added length to the bottom panels. If I wanted them to fit perfectly right now, I would’ve only added about an inch (I added 3″). I made the elastic in the waist a bit loose too, it won’t fall down…[Read more]

Our trusty friend @admin pushed out a bunch of changes today to address most, if not all, of the items mentioned here so far.
If you do encounter any additional issues, please continue to post them in this thread.
In the meantime, there is more to look forward to. Next we’ll doing some boring behind-the-scenes work to optimize the new forums to…[Read more]

Last night in the car, my 8 yo son said, “mom, I want a queasy bake oven for Christmas.”
Me: (aside) you’re only getting that if you are getting a pregnant woman, and that ain’t happenin’.
MY 14 y/o nephew just about died laughing. First for queasy bake, one of those instances where the error may be more accurate than the correct version, and…[Read more]

Besides the dog eating my jump rope as demoralizing, I am at a stop. Machine in shop. The dealer was like, this machine and you are not a good combo. She offered to give me the full value against a trade in for an elna 5300/540 for the difference.
The buttonholer is touchy, and intermittently works. The feed dogs were bent and tipped so…[Read more]
