Three inches would be no problem at all, I added that to a swish little black hanky linen version.

I have added length to the Portfolio with is sort of the ‘prequel’ to this lovely pattern.

I added it to the bottom, continuing the slight ‘A’ line effect.

Don’t forget to add to all the panels. 🙂

Heidi, just take a little look at jalie.com. They have a pdf pattern for pants and shorts that is very similar in style to the sketchbook/ cargos. Very extensive sizing so you might be able to fill the gap for this growing nephew of yours. Noah did the huge growth spurt thing just like that this past year or so. He is now in a small man’s size!

Free dress day at school tomorrow marking the end of the school year. I received the reports for my children today and was thrilled to see such an improvement in marks especially from Noah.
