Ellen, I agree with Nicole. I usually let things slide, and it’s fine while it’s just me — but that garment has a life after your kid’s use of it. I find I am too embarrassed to give away some outgrown clothes because of those moments that I didn’t go back and unpick. Never send a man to measure:
We have an outdoor play set whose plastic canvas roof shred after about 8 years. Hubby measured and said the dimensions are 90x 39 and 45x 39. I added 4 inches to each for finishing the edges. So in terms of length where it mattered 94 + 49= 11.8 feet. I bought 4 yards of outdoor canvas. It is literally straight…[Read more]

Hi Sarvi, I like to end my darts about an 1″ to 1 1/2″ from my apex. I think the larger your bust the further back you end the dart.
