Thanks, Liesl and Nicole!
Sounds good… just so I am clear, though, I don’t stitch on the area between the dots but on the stitching line I transfer from the pattern piece (even though the illustrations in the instructions show a stitching line on the area between the dots)?
Also, what do I do about the 3rd notch that’s in the illustrations…[Read more]

How about the Art Museum trousers, with a shiny stripe down the side, and an oversized Sketchbook shirt with the stand collar option and lots of length added, then add on the bits of gold trim. In the right fabric it might read like a coat?

Mood, I want to go to Mood.
I have a bag Sarvi sent me and I always use it at Spotlight.

The Fairytale would make lovely princess dresses for the older girls.

Cooking and Baking 10 years agoIf I had eggs like those, really fresh, I bet I’d eat loads of them. Supermarket eggs are really sad specimens. Pale yolks, shells barely there. I splurged on proper eggs from the farmer’s market today. Had to queue for them!
Moussaka sounds fab.

Oh, very good point. Habu is a bit like that. The long-suffering non-crafting friend who went with me referred to it as a ‘yarn speakeasy’ 🙂

Cooking and Baking 10 years ago@DarcyStruble, yum! Love that idea. Thank you.
We are lucky with eggs, it is good we like them.
Another 1/2 dozen egg plants were dropped off yesterday so I think moussaka is on the menu again tonight.

I am keen to make the polo top too. Liddy needs a new PE kit and I want to try the feminine version in a cotton/spandex knit.
I have made a lot of polo tops, I stopped counting in my head when I reached 40 (most of them pale blue) I am super interested to make this one up.
I am sure it will be excellent. -

@justsewit, Burda do a range of patterns for ‘solid’ children. I like Burda, they are not O+S but they are not half bad.
I got my Garden Party PDF glued together, 25 minutes, start to finish.
