That does make sense about the Bistro, and I think the pockets might be optional — my friend has a terrific figure and I bet she’d be willing to forgo the pockets for something a little more fitted. I have plenty of time to look, my to-sew list is pretty long before I get to fitted garments for adults (who are not me!)

I think the Bubble is the one I can do the fastest from start to finish — no terribly tricky seams, only a few buttons, fully lined so you needn’t be particular about a fussy seam finish, and if you use elastic you don’t have to hem it (and if you hem it, you don’t have to use elastic)! Argh, I have a Puppet Show cut out for the puppet show we’re going to tomorrow and the storm knocked out my sewing machine. I hope it’s resettable and not really fried.
