Sew Alongs 11 years agoI think cotton jersey is great for polos and T-shirts, and I’m sure it will be fine here. This pattern doesn’t need a ton of stretch, especially with the woven details. So glad you’re joining us!

if you have a wee flick through this set you can see how much ease it had 🙂

Nicole replied to the topic What are you sewing now? in the forum off topic 11 years ago
Still plugging away at Elsa’s coat. Not so pleasant to sew wool with a stuffy nose and head cold.
Sewing for babies sounds much more fun but I have Zara, Hugo, Me, Jed and Gifts before it is sweet Trixie’s turn again.
It doesn’t stop me planning….. -

Are you in a rush? You can have my copy.
I purchased it in case Trixie was a boy. I am happy to swop for that tee pattern. -

Just picked up my daughter, Elsa, (15) from work experience at an animal reserve.
She handled everything from pythons to possums and even minded a monkey!

Then perhaps consider a cloth with some stretch.
I made a maternity version in wool spandex and it gave me quite a bit of ease.(I would post a link but I am worried the whole photo would appear and no one needs to see that huge belly here)
