Sorry to those of you waiting but it probably won’t be until next week. Once we hand things off to the printer we lose a lot of control of the timetable and this round things are taking longer than usual.

I finished Jed’s jeans, super heavy denim but they should wear well. I used some scraps from his Liberty shirt to make the pocket bags and line the back yoke.

How do you control the speed of the click?

I love the Kaufman London Calling line, it’s a pleasure to sew. I vote for the Butterfly set as I recall the Music Class being not the world’s quickest sew. You know your own sewing though, if you’re familiar with it and feel confident, I’m sure you’ll get loads of use from the blouse, in particular, well after the recital. I finished a pair of Named Alexandrina Peg trousers, for Zara, in velvet backed apparel vinyl. It stretched, it slipped but the finished garment has produced far more joy then is decent for an item of clothing.

Total Rock Star moment.
