@motherof5 the kedgeree looks interesting! I’ve never heard of it before, one of the things I love about this thread. And yes, yams = sweet potatoes (they may be different plants but for all intents and purposes are interchangeable in recipes). I would imagine the sweetness of the yams plays nicely against the sharp salty Gruyere :-).

If it’s a behavioral (i.e. not medical) issue, there are nightlights that visually show the child when they’re supposed to stay in bed vs when it’s time to get up – a moon lights up for stay-in-bed time, and you can program the built-in timer to switch to lighting up a sun when it’s ok for them to get up. Perhaps get the dress on your daughter (inside out) before unpicking anything so you can play around by pinching dart and other areas first to see exactly where some re-construction is needed. That’s what I would do.
Then unpick the darts you mentioned if necessary, re-try on and pin to fit.
