I think cotton jersey is great for polos and T-shirts, and I’m sure it will be fine here. This pattern doesn’t need a ton of stretch, especially with the woven details. So glad you’re joining us!

I’m going to have a go at this and i’m looking to use fabric from my stash but i’m not sure whether it will be ok as I don’t really ‘understand’ Jersey fabric. I have some really stretch stuff, about 8% elastine which I’ve discarded as it feels too stretchy and would be better for leggings. measure your high bust and your full bust. If there is more than 2″ difference, using your high bust will help you get the correct fit in the shoulders and over all bodice. So if your high bust is 34″ but your full bust is 38″, you want to pick the pattern bust size 34. Then, you add width and length to accommodate the bust fullness.
