Remember when the news broadcast that it snowed in Greenbushes? Its always a newstory when it snows on Bluff Knoll! Just the fact there is a chance of experiencing a “snow day” my kids would be there in a shot – note to self kick the telly out the door!

A tulle circle skirt is a genius idea as that gets around having to seam the tulle.
However, the Fairy Tale dress has a zipper that crosses the waist seam which would complicate things if you wanted the tulle on the outside. Maybe I’m being unambitious but I think an invisible zipper and layers of tulle will not go nicely together.

After what seems like weeks not sewing I am finally able to and am in the process of cutting a apair of denim afterschool pants for Chloë. This will be followed by Jalie jeans for Imogen and Jalie denim trousers (jeans for Noah). All in a bid to have them…[Read more]

@vothgirl I am so glad you are finding a way to cope with PD. My sister suffered and still does I think and her son is six! It can be dreadful but I am so glad you are able to manage it. Are you having counselling also?

Heidi she was using the teacher’s and the parent’s phone to contact me. Apparently they were sharing what they are getting up to on Facebook also. No they specifically said that no mobile phones are allowed because it was such an issue last year. The teachers had to make sure they were looked after. So this year only the adults have them. Oh that sounds like a wonderful toy to keep you sewing with Masha! I am so glad your hubby is home. I have been thinking of you over there and wondering how you have been coping.
