It makes sense. I’m not trying to make it reversible. Unfortunately I already cut out the fabric with the pocket holes on both pieces. I will put together a one layer skirt and see if I can either sew some of the fabric scraps back onto the lining to fill the pockets or hack the lining on in a different way, or ditch the lining all together. Hi, I just started making the city stroll skirt.

I’m using a stretchy fabric to make the skirt an athliesure version since I’m planning on wearing it for the first day of school teaching physical education.
