Where does after school top hit?

    I found some inspiration. I am going to make a few after school outfits. How does the top fit in terms of length? It looks almost cropped.

    My daughter has an egregiously long torso. There are few things I hate more than a shirt that rises and shows belly when reaching. Those sweet Buddha bellies need to stay covered and warm, especially since this winter seems to be shaping up as a cold one.

    I will likely do at least 4t in length for 3t. I wonder if I should add more. When I did fairy tale her 2t shoulder width needed 4t plus 2.5 inches in length.

    The top is short. You should look at the finished measurements and then measure the child. I added several inches.

    Thanks. I did that. It looks like I need about 3.5 -4 inches. If it is a wee bit long, she can wear next year.:)
