Quite a modest selection!
I read recently that the average person would need a 27 hour day to get everything done that they needed, including sleeping 8 hours. I wonder, would we sewers need just a few more hours added on to get through all of our sewing lists?!
12 years ago LINKLightning McStitch @LightningMcStitchWho sleeps 8 hours when there’s a fun sewing project to hand and a broadband connection to that Flickr pool?! (posting at almost midnight here)
There’s only a few patterns that I don’t have. I started with the Puppet Show and School Days patterns about two years ago and have gone Oliver + S mad since then.
I never imagined I could make my kids whole wardrobe. I always thought I’d only sew the special occasion stuff and that the cheap knit tops from shops were the way to go for everyday. Now of course, I’ve got my double needle, my beginners licence in knit sewing and I’m thinking I’ll sew everything they wear bar the undies and socks.
I’m currently working on a costume that is a mash-up of no less than six Oliver + S patterns. I would never have tried that two years ago!
12 years ago LINKSarvi @SarviBy next year you’ll be making the undies too 🙂
12 years ago LINKjuliamom2009 @juliamom2009I was actually thinking how easy it would be to make underwear – right after my daughter stuck her foot through the elastics in the Dora undies that I had just bought her…..I just might give it a go!
12 years ago LINKpoppy_andrew @poppy_andrewI keep trying to organize my lists of which patterns I have, and which patterns I covet. I’ve made
Ice Cream (1 dress, 1 top)
Nature Walk (1 top/boy, 2 girl pants)
Hopscotch (1 top)
School Photo dress (1)
Family Reunion dress (1)
Sleepover Pajamas (1/boy 1/girl)
I wish we could have a cute downloadable printout to help us keep track!

I love hearing what you all have and see you have made from all of your patterns. Making this list it is even clearer which is my go to for the kids, Bedtime Story PJ Pants are good on all occasions! Now I will post a pic of the rainbow PJ Pants I made the kids recently. (interesting enough i don’t have any kids but i never find a shortage of little ones to dress in cute outfits!)
12 years ago LINKpoppy_andrew @poppy_andrewThank you, Motherof5, for bumping this checklist! It’s perfect!! I hadn’t found anything using the search terms I came up with. Thanks again!

10 years ago LINKLightning McStitch @LightningMcStitchWhat a timely thread bump. Just read my post of a year ago and had a laugh as I’ve been very tempted lately to sew some undies!
I’m a paper pattern junkie so I don’t have the Firefly and Hula Hoop patterns. The only paper one I’m missing is the Sandbox pants. (anyone want to sell one, I’d be interested)
the untouched pile includes:
Seashore Sundress
Library Dress
Playtime Dress and Leggings
Playdate Dress
Apple Picking dress
Class Picnic Blouse and Shorts
I’m up to 14 projects from the Little Things To Sew book and I WILL be finished by August 31st!
