What interfacing should I use for a bow tie?

I’m making a bow tie for my 13 year old, obsessed with Dr. Who, son. Since a bow tie is dressy compared to his normal jeans, hoody and t shirt style, I’m so excited about this! The possibility of him wearing a button down shirt has me giddy. I need to make this before he changes his mind.

I just don’t know what interfacing to use? It needs some body, but not anything that will crease. Any ideas?

Here is the tutorial we are using (other than I’ll cut the tie on the bias, in the video they did not):

Thanks in advance! You ladies haven’t let me down yet:)

Check out Liesl’s new supplies in store. She has some nice interfacing listed.

I use McCalls sheer weft, its very very nice.

I ordered Misty Fuse and a Goddess Sheet. I thought Misty Fuse was an adhesive and the Goddess Sheet was something you use while you iron to protect the iron. Is one of them an interfacing?
