    Beach mom, thanks! I will look for some before I take the next step.

    I have regular glass head sewing pins. I don’t use quilting pins.

    Sewing would have so much more appreciation and respect if people understood the technology behind crafting a garment. I mean look at this thread on the considerations of sewing one type of fabric. Pins, needles, slippage, washing, ironing, tensile strength. Not to mention all the math & specifically the geometry of pattern construction and sculpting 2D into a 3D form.

    It truly is, as the ancient Greeks would say, a fine example of techne!
