Hi there, The croquet dress looks adorable! I’m going to purchase the materials tomorrow to start working on it. Quick question (keeping in mind I don’t have the pattern yet): It says under fabric requirements that you should purchase ribbon (optional–but I definitely want the bow). It also says that there is contrasting fabric to purchase. Looking at the pictures you provide it looks like the bow is made out of the contrasting fabric instead of ribbon per se. Is this correct? I’m confused if I should buy ribbon or if the ribbon is made out of the contrasting fabric out of, I’m assuming, the bias.

You can make the bow out of contrasting fabric cut on the bias. There are steps on how to do this in the pattern. Looking forward to seeing your Croquet dress!
