I love, love the field trip on my boy!! Everything about them, the fit, the length, all.

I made the smaller size sandbox than he measured in to (because I thought the pattern went to 4, but it only went to 3t) and really liked the slimmer fit, haven’t made his actual size yet.

I made the sketchbook in the size he measured in to but they seemed a little tight, could have been my mistake as I have only made them once.

Made the sailboat pants a few times for my little girls (sizes 6m and 12m) and liked them, though they were a little low- not a problem though with a onesie underneatch.

My kids tend to measure smaller than their RTW sizes, so I typically lengthen.

I have only made the Afterschool in size 3 for my daughter. They literally are the best fitting pants she’s ever had. When she bends down there is enough ease in the butt, not to pull them off her and show all diaper, yet, they aren’t baggy. For any pants I try them on her, and measure before I hem, so length is optional. I know that the cut will never be too short b/c she’s petite.

Recently her legs grew (yeah– no more stumpy legged baby look), and I will be hacking off the bottoms to make them into shorts. 🙂
