Hi there…. I am sure this must be an easy question, but I just can’t visualize what is supposed to happen in step 2 of the mitten pattern. I know I have done something wrong because the finished mitten’s thumb doesn’t lie right. What does it mean to press the thumb and seam allowance toward the curved finger edge? I just can’t picture what this means. Thanks very much….

When you press the mitten thumb it’s towards the top of the mitten. That is how it makes the thumb of it, does that make any sense? (Did you turn it outside in in too?)
