something like the Swingset top one– but in a size 6 and up. Any links? Or Liesl– any interest in reissuing that adorable pattern in bigger sizes (and perhaps a bit easier to make?)

    Thank you!

The new Seashore Sundress is just adorable. There seems to be a lot of pattern pieces, but it goes together so easily I wouldn’t let that stop you.

Of course, there is always the Popover Sundress Pattern, which I think goes to a size 8.

    Great minds Jan!

If you ‘pop over’ to the blog there is a free pattern for a Pop Over Sundress which maybe just what you are looking for!

Yes, I would love to see something similar to the Swing Set in larger sizes too.

ljmonchik: On the note of easier to sew, however, there is a great tute by April for the placket (which I’m only assuming is the part you found tricky – like some of the rest of us): http://www.oliverands.com/blog/2009/06/swingset-placket-tutorial.html

Do try the Seashore or the popover, though.

If you are finding other parts tricky I blogged one that I made for my daughter.

I used Aprils tutorial to figure out the placket step though,it is excellent!
