I know these are ‘just’ a uniform but they look so neat and tidy, makes my heart sing.
Ditto this one from aunty chacha:

And this fantastic, colorful vest from runcibles:

Plus a few others I remember seeing (a linen sketchbook shirt with sleeve tabs, PJs in a newspaper print) but can’t seem to find at the moment.

Recently I have noticed this fantastic dress which could have a long life outside the costume box once Halloween is over:

This super clever Paddington set with coat, hat, and even ‘suitcase’ for collecting candy!:

They are lovely. I’m with you on Amanda’s three piece set, I have lost count of the times I’ve looked at the pictures of that outfit and coveted it!

Maybe we need a sew along for knock offs of each other’s work? It is pretty special that set.

Oh, I’d forgotten this thread – thanks for ressurecting it Sarvi.
I adore that Paddington outfit – think I favourited every pic of it. Such perfect details.
The three piece set is fab too – have you seen her adult tees (same Liberty….gorgeous) (& sorry – no link – on phone so too hard – but they’re in the Liesl&Co group)

Thanks for mentioning my costume, Sarvi! I’ll keep the fun going. Only one of these is O+S, but I love the colors and patterns on these sisters:

Oh, those are wonderful — a bit of neutral really makes the bright colors pop, doesn’t it? Some folks are so great at mixing up patterns (like Nele), but when I get inspired and try it myself I think each pattern gets a bit lost in the others. Neutral + accent is so versatile, it’s great for dipping your toe in the world of strong, vivid colors and patterns.

I agree, I am starting from scratch with Beatrix’s wardrobe. It is great fun and surprising how few ‘outfits’ she actually needs.
Love this thread!

I was just thinking today about how you don’t need that much. I’m much more organized than I used to be at planning/sewing/purchasing my kids wardrobes…and they have way fewer clothes. As for babies, their things must be washed instead of sitting around getting sour…so you are right…very little actual need if you do it right.
