Hooray!!!! Finally my book status has changed to ‘dispatched’!!!!

I didn’t get an autographed one, either, Nicole. I went with the best bargain without the autograph. The whole book is like Liesl’s signature, anyway, I think.

Mine also just changed to dispatched, and I hope it’s here soon since it doesn’t have far to travel.
Although it usually takes a week whether I order from the UK or from the US. Strange that.
But, to distract me in the meantime I picked up my calendar from Korea from Pony Brown. I had never heard of it before but saw a link to it and it’s adorable!!

Hope you’re feeling better Sandi 🙂
I’ve just ordered an autographed copy (my rationale? there was some money in the paypal account that my husband didn’t know about. So it was ‘free’ postage if he asks!).
I really can’t wait to get it. I have it all planned out. Pop the kids into bed, make a pot of Earl Grey and have a few hours of sewing heaven.
I am most excited about the hats and the quilt, which I plan to make for baby #3 due in about 31 weeks… but who’s counting?! Now I have to get thinking about my fabrics…

Now that sounds like a plan, Claire!
How’s the morning sickness going btw?

Pretty horrendous Justine, but I’m on anti-nausea meds now which are making a huge difference. Hope to get sewing again soon.

Wow, Claire. I don’t necessarily miss the morning sickness. With my first pregnancy I had it for more than 3 months and then for about the last month or so! Yikes. Counting down from 31 weeks, hehe. Hope the medicine clear things up soon!

Maraya, I was trying to remember if it was your husband who spilled coffee on your pattern?!?! LOL Either way, buy that book as your husband so thoughtfully suggested. 🙂 Nice man.(And if he was the coffee culprit, all is forgiven, right?)

Mine’s here! I’m going to make another run to the fabric store to pick some things up for the messenger bag!

haha, yes, Loralee, it was mine that spilled the coffee! I have some twill ready to make a pair of Sailboat pants for my daughter…I’m sure he’ll get a stink eye or two when I get that page! 🙂
As soon as I saw the blog post I ordered the book, without even giving him a chance to change his mind! And yes, he’s a good man. All was forgiven after a nice ribbing.
Johanna, I can’t wait to make the messenger bag!! I think that pink girl fabric would be great for that project too!

I just ordered mine, too! I had to wait until pay day, and due to some unforseen circumstances, I had to go the cheapest route possible. No autographed copy like I really, really, really wanted, but life goes on, right?

Mine just arrived — WHY did I not notice there’s a bento box carrier! I have to make one of these for my sister in law’s birthday, she’ll be beside herself.
