Hi –

I’m relatively new to sewing. My first two attempts have been in the last 4 weeks – the Weekend Getaway and Oliver + S Book Report. I love the patterns – they are so detailed that even a newbie can tackle them. I can’t wait to try more of Liesl’s patterns.

I had a question about lengthening the Weekend Getaway Dress to ankle length. I was wondering if the ending circumference (at the knees) is big enough that I can just lengthen in the middle between underarm and hem the way Liesl mentions in her tutorial; or if it’s better to widen the bottom circumference somehow.

Any suggestions would be great! Thank you so much.
