is the back of this top gathered?

    I have read the instructions so many times that my eyes have gone cross-eyed. I am sure I am missing the spot where it tells me to gather the back of the top to fit the yoke, because I am trying to attach the yoke to the top, and the back of my top is much wider than the yoke. Is the back gathered or did I make a massive cutting error?

    Yes, the top is gathered. Somehow we neglected, in all our testing and double-checking and triple-checking of details, to catch that it wasn’t included in the instructions! We’ve issued an errata:
