Janie and Jack! Check out their vintage line for girls. Sailor shorts and ruffle tops! Yup, definitely making those for this summer using O+s patterns!

OMG Drool.
Although, if you look closely at the lines of their clothes, you might see a popover, music box, or a badminton in shape.
The lines are super classic, so you can easily do a copy with an O & S pattern! 🙂

Yep….love to look longingly at Bonpoint. Someone gave my daughter a smocked liberty dress from there as a baby. I remember being so sad when I finally couldn’t squeeze her in it anymore.
I order for both kids from OliveJuice when they run a sale. But, I would buy more things if I could afford it. Though, the last batch I ordered have proven to be really crappy quality compared to in the past.

since Jcrew is my favorite store for me, it’s no surprise I would love that for the kids. I love mini Boden too for them, especially the boys. A friend really likes Olive Juice and has anyone seen Marie Chantal? Gorgeous. Also, shopbelle.com
Thanks for the links to bonpoint and hucklebones! Drool. I’m still window shopping to check out the other places mentioned, but this is perfect! Lots of inspiration for spring sewing!
But typically, we’ve forgotten ourselves! Where would you buy your own things if money were no object? I’m starting to think if that were really the case I would simply sign up to be a couture client at Chanel. 🙂

Oh for myself it would be Dior and Marc Jacobs. I would hire someone to pick out a bunch of stuff and then try it on at home and decide what I wanted to keep. I really don’t like shopping and I don’t think I would have the patience that couture fittings would require. 😉

I don’t have the LIFE that couture would require! I would enjoy custom jeans, and things from Eileen Fisher, Velvet (for tshirts), and vince.

Drool!!! I’m wasting a lot of time thanks to this thread 🙂
Isn’t it so gratifying tho’ to know that you can make these exact same trousers using the Art Museum pattern? http://www.bonpoint.com/us/span-span-68488.html
Or this using the Puppet Show shorts http://www.bonpoint.com/us/span-span-68072.html

I also love Hanna Andersson and Boden and Jacadi. I used to go to The Wooden Soldier in North Conway, NH for my oldest daughter. They have an online shop as well – http://www.woodensoldier.com/. Smocking, girly dresses and old fashioned coats. Reminds me of clothes I used to wear (mostly against my will) as a girl!

Yes, it’s completely gratifying! But I like the “window” shopping for ideas.

Honestly, if I had that kind of money I’d hire a personal trainer and go back to wearing my old clothes until my new muscles split them open.
