    Hi,

This might be a silly question, but are these sleeves meant to be hemmed by hand? If not, how do I do this on a machine?

    Thanks!

You may hem by hand if you wish.

If you would like to use a machine but find the opening too small try sewing it on the inside http://www.flickr.com/photos/motherof5/7806907554/

    Does that help?

Oh yeah, if you are making this in a teensy size, hem from the inside. Slow and steady and it will work, I promise. Here’s the 6-12M I made, and I machine-sewed the sleeves:

I tend to hand stitch my sleeves because I’m too lazy to fight with my machine over it LOL. Though some patterns have wider cuff openings and I will stitch them if they will actually fit around my differential arm.

Yes, thank you!! That helped a lot! Sorry I did not reply, I think I thought that I did – oops.

It’s done and turned out great. 🙂

    My absolute pleasure!

(And I have just done it on a weeny Apple Picking dress)
