So this is a silly post but maybe it will inspire Liesl. Not that she needs it, but what fun names for new patterns would you suggest?

What inspired me, if you will, was seeing all the pics appearing in my Facebook newsfeed of back to school. So next fall, O +S should put out a back to school pattern! Maybe released at the end of July!!!

Imagine a news feed with pic after pic of back to school dresses? πŸ™‚

So silly post, but what would you name a new pattern?

    Jenny.

Silly but fun! We had an old thread on this too — I should look back through and see if any of our names got picked! https://oliverands.com/forums/topic.php?id=678

Let’s see, what would the next season be? Spring 2013?

Apple Picking and Hula Hoop and Field Trip were suggested! I didn’t read all the pages of the thread maybe Firefly, Book Report, and Fairy Tale were suggested, too. I think Back to School or First Day of

School would be a good name. I made back to school dresses for my daughter last year for kindergarten and this year for 1st grade. I feel certain that I will make her an outfit for the first day of second grade, too. Snow Days would be a good name. I always make a spring holiday outfit, too.

I’m always looking for new ideas, so please continue to add as you think of them! Thanks so much for this, too. It’s really helpful, and I love that we can collaborate like this. Yes, we’ve used quite a few of your suggestions. I compile them all into a list that we refer to when it’s time to choose.

My list could go on, and on. It’s been one of those days πŸ˜‰

And Nicole, your snail trail comment made me snort laugh. It wasn’t pretty, but I needed it πŸ™‚

Oh my goodness, if my daughter knew there was pattern with either snail or spider in the name we would totally own it/them. She is all about creatures these days, seemingly all of the slimy or creepy variety, much to my chagrin.
