I just wanted to share this jacket I did this weekend. I am a budget sewer and can’t always afford new fabric. I thought someone might be interested in this. I bought a men’s jacket (50% wool / 50% lambs wool) and a large pink top sheet from Salvation Army. Cost $4. I had everything else in my stash except for the toggle closures. Cost ($9 with coupons). I was able to just for all the pieces for a 2T by piecing a little bit. Anyways. Hope you like it and it inspires!

I used kam snaps to hold in lining because I have a crap load of them from making diapers.

Love it! I upcycle a lot of clothes to make things for my 2 year old. It gives me great satisfaction to get a 2nd life out of a ripped pair of pants!
