Oh my, Sarvi. Laughed aloud at the costumer comment! But really, are pearl snaps great, or what?! 😉 I do hope for a long sleeved shirt and/or dress option. Maybe a mix!? I think I’d like to see a different style pants too, but if not Nicole has given some great inspiration for varying the Sketchbook shorts! I do love wearing vests though, so a vest and knit shirt with a coordinating skirt would be wonderful!! Oooh, can’t wait!!

I keep checking in every day, waiting not so patiently. I have a table full of fabrics/O+S patterns that I’m working on finishing before the new patterns are released since I made a promise to not buy anything new until I complete what’s already bought. I hate when I make these promises to myself! LOL The good news about waiting is that I’ll finish 2 dresses and a top lickety-split. 😉

There’s not much longer to wait now. The new fall patterns will be announced next Monday, August 16 in our newsletter and on the blog.

I’m sooooo glad I checked in to see what the update might be. This is Very Wonderful News! I can hardly wait!

Yesterday was Fabric Washing Day for any of my cottons that weren’t yet ready. Today I didn’t actually go fabric shopping per se when I went for those button kits to make fabric-covered buttons but–imagine this!–I found some lovely stuff that just had to come home with me. xoxo, Nancy

Oh Nancy, I know nothing about goodies that just ‘have’ to come home with you from a non-shopping trip! 😉

Okay . . . I’m probably barking up the wrong tree . . . but there’s been a few mentions of grown up fabric selection and patterns. I’m starting to wonder if there might be a pattern for us coming???

Liesl, I’m sure the uptake would be huge! If there isn’t this time then maybe for the future?

Just saw the latest patterns and they are wonderful. The School Photo Dress with the rolled collar reminds me of Jackie Kennedy in the 60s. The pockets on the Hopscotch skirt are so cute and I will have a great time learning how to sew knit fabrics. The music box jumper will look beautiful in either version with a number of fabrics. quilting cottons, velvets, and even denim. Last but not least boys and girls will look great in the Nature top and pants. I can’t wait to see all the versions and details that will show up soon!

New patterns! So sweet, so fun. I want them all!

I’m excited about the variations with the School Photo dress. The collars + sleeves are delightful. And the Hopscotch top will be my first knit project (i have obviously been waiting for the right pattern to come along and now here it is!)…cutest little skirt–and those pockets! LOVE.

The Music Box jumper takes my breath away, especially in that beautiful blue fabric. aahhhh!

I can see how little kids are going to like the comfy Nature Walk pants and the top has me thinking about combinations!

wow! and new fabrics to go with?!! (you can tell this is my first season of being here for the unveiling… I have been catching up on past seasons)

(thanks, sweet Nicole, for asking about my new fabric! I’ll move my answer to the What Are You Sewing Lately topic…)
