I have to admit that I find pressing strips of bias binding strangely satisfying! I have burnt my fingers a few times though and now that I am fully bitten by the sewing bug I’m thinking that maybe I’d look into these tools. I’m just wondering whether other people use them and what sizes to get for O and S patterns?

    Many thanks!

I like the 3/8″ wide Clover binding tool the most. It’s sold as the 3/4″ wide, I think, but once you’ve double folded it, the binding finishes at 3/8″ wide. I sometimes use 1/4″ and sometimes 1/2″ but seem to gravitate to 3/8″ the most. And it is sort of fun, isn’t it?
