    im still totally confused. anyone have pics with printed fabric vs the white in the example posted….

    If you scroll up a bit, Nicole also posted an earlier tutorial in a printed fabric which may help. In case it doesn’t, I knocked up a few photos sewing together scraps just to illustrate the essentials of the sandwiching technique in hopes of helping you move your project along, but please understand that I have neither made this shirt, nor do I have the instructions in front of me, so this is ONLY my interpretation of Nicole’s photos, Please take it for what it’s worth (maybe not much!):
