Adjusting for a high round back

I’m planning to make the breezy blouse but am cautious about how a high round back adjustment will affect the keyhole opening in the centre back. In the past I’ve made a centre back seam or a yoke to accomodate the adjustment on tops and shirts. I’d prefer not to have too many back seams on this delightful design but not sure what to do. Advice welcome!

Hi Annie. I think I would probably put in the seam for the best fit, and then end up with a slit opening instead of a keyhole. . But you could try doing the adjustment without a center back seam, and then take out the excess at the neckline with darts.

Thanks Masha. I feel encouraged and will try out your suggestion.

Great! I hope you share it when you’re done!
