2 + 2 Skirt Pattern Pieces

    Greetings ladies!

    I am just starting my first Oliver and S patrern and I am confused on matching the waistband pieces. Is the waistband 1 long strip thay goes around the whole waist? Do I just need to join all three pattern pieces? I know it might be a dumb question, but I can’t get my head wrapped around it tonite.

    Hi Tricia, yes the waistband is just one long piece (pattern piece 6).
    The only other pattern pieces are the skirt, and the front and back plackets.
    Maybe sleep on it and just follow the instructions in the morning. I always find Oliver + S patterns work perfectly if you don’t overthink them, and just do as Liesl says! 🙁
