Hello, I’m starting to sew on my Positano dress, using a rayon crepe. I bought some Microtex 70/10 needles, but my test seam shows mini-snags along the seam on the right side. Should I be using something else?

I love many of the patterns and would welcome the chance to return to sewing regularly if only I could find some decent fabric sources. JoAnn Fabrics fails to excite me….polar fleece anyone?! Likewise, many online companies are geared to the quilters. Can you suggest some retail fabric options for this eager, but frustrated sewer?

I will try this way of shortening the collar in order to raise the v-neck. So, I will also have to adjust the facing at centre back by same amount, right? Then what about matching shoulder seams and notches? (Sorry if this should be obvious!)

Hello!
I had a similar problem on my Singer sewing machine.
Check the shuttle if it is nicked or damaged. it needs to be changed. -

Do you mean the test square to be sure you’ve printed it at the right scale?

Is there a small squareish space in the pattern at the top arm hole edge in the pattern?
