I’ve made a butterfly skirt and top, a birthday party dress and a wrap skirt to include in the monochrome project. I do have a pair of puppet show shorts cut out but as to whether they will be done by the 5th is another thing. If they are completed them they can go with the white puppet show tunic as a set.

I’ve just put the photos up of my first black and white creation – a Playdate dress. Why, oh why did I take so long to sew this dress pattern. It’s such a great shape and style.
I’ve got one more outfit left to sew, so I’m working to the North American version of the 5th of October, as in my time zone that is eerily close…

I’ve cut out and have sewn the darts on the art museum Vest. I had just enough to cut it out of the remaining pinstripe fabric but I’ll need to do a contrast lining.

Thanks for the comment on the seater! My daughter asked for a new sweater for Christmas last year so I had her choose the pattern and colors. That’s the way you get your kids to wear what you make.

Fantastic!
And I love your Rhymes with Shawl sweater! (I”m still in a bit of denial about DD’s….it got ruined at school and I need to rip out my yarn and snip out the pieces where the marker didn’t come out 🙁 )

Also this pattern is very easy to convert into a two piece as well. I made this shirt into a two piece collar on this shirt.

@Nicole Thanks; those Jedediah jeans do look nice!! The KwikSew pattern may be discontinued (at least directly from their site).
My hubby is barrel-chested, so I need to stick to patterns that offer larger sizes! But, I really do want to make him some nice, tailored dress shirts. (The Burda nor Japanese book don’t go to his size — darn!). I’d…[Read more]
