Thanks! I’ll download the updated version.
The briefly missed part aside, I’ve really enjoyed this pdf. Love the ability to print out just the desired size, the well-defined cutting lines with scissor icon and background grid for lining everything up. It’s been a breeze compared to the other pdfs. This was my first Liesl + Co pdf purchase and it…[Read more]

So sorry about that! Someone else pointed out that error to us yesterday. We’ve updated the printing guide page for the pattern to include page 37 for all views and cup sizes.
If you would like an updated version of the PDF with this change in place, you can use your original download link to download a new copy now.

Found it! It’s on page 37. The pattern printing index on page 3 only lists printing page 37 for a C cup. Which is odd as it contains the end of the shoulder and most of the armscye of the back piece (5A symbol) as well as the shoulder end for the C cup front piece #2. So maybe a typo on the printing index? Whew! So glad to find it! Now to finish taping. 🙂

I’m in the process of putting together the pdf of the classic shirt and can’t find the upper right part of pattern piece #5/ the shirt back. ?? I’ve printed out a size 2 and gone back and searched page files but just don’t see it. I feel so silly asking but could anyone else with this pattern please tell me where this part is? It should say 5A on it. TIA.

Liesl Gibson replied to the topic FBA instructions: what am I missing? in the forum liesl + co: cappuccino dress + tunic 8 years ago
Thanks for your patience, Peggy. I finally had a couple of minutes to go back and review the FBA instructions for this one (it’s been a long time since I wrote them), and I think it’s quite straightforward. The technique is similar to the Cinema Dress but maybe a little easier? Also, if you’re struggling with fit, I highly recommend the Fit for…[Read more]

Sorry for the silence Peggy. I don’t have much up front, nor have I made the Capuccino dress but hopefully someone else will chime in with their thoughts soon….

I’m wondering if the FBA for this pattern is easier than the Cinema dress. This will be my first time sewing a dress for myself, and adjusting the fit on Cinema was so hard that I eventually gave up. If you have experience with both, do you think this dress would be easier to fit? Thanks for the help.

Hi Beverly, I wish I could help you with some business ideas, but my sewing for the ballet was done on a volunteer basis! No contract or anything like that…just an email from our ballet mistress saying, could you make these for us, please? 🙂 Fortunately, I had Liesl’s amazing book at my disposal, which made it easier. Maybe you could take a…[Read more]

Sorry, bit off topic. I can’t help from asking this because of my curiosity. How did you get that contract? Even I have plans to do fabric designing business but not sure where to begin. When I googled I got an idea about the marketing strategy (http://www.grassrootsadvertising.com/blog/offline-marketing/creative-strategies-for-offline-marketing/)…[Read more]
