I’m down to two major Christmas gifts to go! Elsa’s corronation Cape and Hermione’s Ball Dress. I finished up the 3 tshirts I cut earlier in the week and a pair of Ottobre shorts, it’s disappointing when they grow out of Oliver and S 🙁

I had a look at the pattern instructions at HEM AND ATTACH THE POCKETS. If your fabric is the same on the outside as the inside, i.e. chambray, consider turning the pocket hem to the outside with the lace edge tucked in before topstitching then continue with step two as written. Very interesting! do you want to add extra all the way down or just have the gathers there without adding extra fullness at the sides? I think I know how I would do it but i think it’ll be better in pictures.

I am very fond of the detail being sewn on the pocket approximately 3/4 up from the bottom.
It makes more of a statement to me.

I have a Juki and it came with a manual, of sorts. I find that has all the information I really need to know but I must admit I probably don’t use all the features.
I tend to Google and then pinterest any links I need.
