@Yirg You might be able to buy a copy from a store, for exmple in the UK the smaller size in paper is available here http://www.eternalmaker.com/fairy-tale-dress-pattern-oliver-s
I’ll definitely be buying it in the smaller size in paper now I know that it’s not being reprinted!

The Fairy Tale dress, in the small size range only, has indeed gone out of print. It’s still available as a digital pattern. As is always the case, when we near the end of our stock on an item we evaluate sales and determine if there is justification to do a reprint. This pattern wasn’t selling at the level required to maintain it in paper.
It…[Read more]

Hi there, so sorry if this has been asked and answered before. I did a search but couldn’t find anything.
Just wondered why the fairytale dress was out of print? Is there something new in the offing to replace the paper pattern version. -

I think I might nearly be up to a muslin 🙂 In some ways the pattern no longer looks like the original, but I have a much better idea why most RTW and sewn straight from the pattern pants pretty much never fit!
It’s been about 4 hours work so far just on flat pattern adjustment and probably another hour or so before it’s ready for the muslin…[Read more] -

Heidi its expensive and slow as a wet week! I ordered some miracle blankets and I swear they are walking them across the Nullabor still! They were sent ofer a week ago from NSW.
I managed to sew for an hour last night and again today. I didn’t get a heap done though – just a lot of fiddling and procastinating. I managed to cut and sew neck and…[Read more]

Heirloom Sewing and Embroidery 10 years agoI believe it is broken down into 2 size ranges – 1-4 and 5-8. Here’s a link for the size 5-8 that I searched on google. I KNOW the back of the pattern has sizes 1-8 listed, so I think it is legit!

Thanks Nicole! I have a 50cm/20″ one which has been fantastic but not quite long enough for my crotch curve 🙁 I Know postage within Australia is shockingly expensive!

It is a shame postage is so expensive over to Tassie, I received a box of fabric and notions a few days back and there is a bendy ruler thing in there. I will toss it in with the polar fleece Heidi.
I finished a Field Trip tee for Tildy but the neck was too large and I missed it before I had topstitched it. I ended up making it work with poppers…[Read more]

Draft the pattern piece on to the the fabric, but leave extra length at the waist. You can cut that off if you need to.
Or add to it.I have a post here in which I muddled through the process, but it worked!

I made myself a faux wrap top yesterday! I modified the penny pinafore and it worked beautifully 🙂
Todsy I’m trying to get shorts to fit, I hope I can find where to buy a long flexible curve ruler locally as I think it will make the process much easier 🙂 -
