I’m slowly working my way through a tiny bit of smocking on the carousel dress…. and fighting gastro!

I’ve got one more pair of side opening parachute pants to make for school uniform. I had them cut out Wednesday but haven’t got to them. This will be the 4th pair!
I also want to finish her Parachute Polo/Tea party birthday dress for tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to seeing this one finished 🙂

Helena, I would love to put my hand up for the “textile arts” bits and bobs. I belong to a quilt group that makes quilts and laundry bags for “Aussie Heros” men and women in the armed forces. Harmony, I’ve never made those shorts, but that’s the kind of mistake I make all the time.

I finished the messenger bag! It came together in a night, and it’s super-cute. Now I have to decide if my older dd urgently needs her own messenger bag, or if I should go straight to the Negroni.

I sewed up two pairs of City Gym shorts for summer pjs.

Then I attempted to sew a pair of Sunny Day shorts with added length in a lovely dark blue linen, only to find when I sewed the first section together that I had drafted two fronts. 🙁

I’m no longer allowed to draft patterns after 10:00. 🙂

Hi, there’s one in the shop section of the Oliver + S website.

I’m having a big clear out as bits and bobs are coming out of storage. Are there any patchwork/quilters who would welcome a variety of bits? Ideally in the UK/EU but doesn’t have to be.

I made a Carousel dress for Liddy (11),today.

I used sand coloured velvet/uncut cord (not sure what it is) with red topstitching. It has quite a medieval feel to it.
